Grainhouse started in a shared workshop in Copenhagen with one bench, two lathes and a stubborn belief that good objects should outlast trends. Today we work with more than a dozen independent European makers, but the belief has not changed.
Honest materials
Solid wood from certified forests, natural oils and finishes you can repair at home.
Small batches
Most pieces are made in runs of fewer than fifty. Many are made to order.
Fair to makers
Every workshop sets its own price. We never ask for a discount in exchange for volume.
